Having your new pet examined by a veterinarian as soon as possible allows your pet to become comfortable with the staff and clinic and will give you the peace of mind of knowing you are bringing a healthy pet into your home.

Your first visit will include a full “nose-to-tail” physical examination. We will look for any signs of illness as well as congenital defects or abnormalities. Our entire staff is available to answer any questions you may have about your new pet. It is our job to educate you as a pet owner on proper nutrition, training, parasite prevention, vaccinations, and the overall care of your furry friend.
Keeping up with vaccines and deworming schedules is an important aspect of getting your new addition off to the best possible start. Our St. John's AAH Wellness Plans are a great way to ensure your pet receives regular checkups and stays on schedule. We provide the first dose of flea and/or heartworm prevention, but we ask that you bring any accessible records so that we can understand any medical issues that could potentially hinder a healthy and happy beginning.
